Denton Community Food Center provides food from a central community storehouse to needy individuals and families struggling with hunger insecurity.

Office Hours: Monday & Wednesday from 10:30 am-12:30 pm

Service Details: Denton Community Food Center has returned to an inside registration and food distribution process, which requires clients to come inside their handicapped-accessible building to receive services.


Friends of Shiloh Garden

Shiloh Field Community Garden promotes and supports food production for low—and moderate-income families by donating its produce to local food pantries and kitchens. It also educates the public on various gardening techniques.

Tarrant Area Food Bank empowers our communities to alleviate hunger by providing food, education, and resources.

Service Details: Tarrant Area Food Bank provides food to partner agencies in Denton, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise Counties. In addition, they provide nutrition education and assistance with SNAP application.
